Naturopathic Medicine
At FemmeForce Health, we understand that a lot of women have never had any experience with naturopathic medicine.

So what exactly is naturopathic medicine?
-
Diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease
-
Investigation into the root cause(s) of disease
-
Optimization of health and quality of life
-
Assessment of the whole person and not just a particular symptom or disease
-
Gentle and non-invasive techniques to stimulate the body’s inherent healing capacity
-
Treatments used: botanicals, nutraceuticals, homeopathic remedies, acupuncture, dietary interventions, lifestyle interventions and counselling
-
Can be integrated with Western medicine approaches
In order to practice naturopathic medicine in Ontario, individuals must complete an undergraduate bachelor degree, a 4-year doctor of naturopathic medicine degree, and successfully complete a series of licensing examinations with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario.
Did you know that naturopathic doctors can order lab work?
